Time goes on, she grows up, enrolls into PK Academy and ends up in the same class as Saiki Kusuo.
She meets her older brother, Teruhashi Makoto, and he too gets too infatuated with her. Word got out about her, and a huge crowd of people went to go look at her through the nursery window. She was highly cute, enough to make her own doctor blush just by looking at her. She exerted herself too much in trying to memorize everybody's lives that she collapsed in front of everyone. She put in extra effort to memorize the names of everyone in the school and their individual quirks to keep up her reputation, having a pretty good insight and adaptability.
Near the end of the series, Kusuo had a great awareness and respect for her effort, even though he still avoids her. She makes genuine friends, accepts Kusuo’s looks and personality unconditionally, slowly resolves to not having to be perfect in front of him and decides on wanting to go and talk to him over several guys that wanted her attention. Her greediness mellowed out, such as she turned down an offer from Saiko Metori of marrying into wealth. An example being when someone believed Kokomi’s crush was Riki, she is angered and surprised, but then quickly changes the subject of it. However, sometimes her emotions do come out due to shock and/or embarrassment but is able to go back to her facade. She usually hides her true emotions around others with a smile, such as anger and disappointment, to keep her perfect facade. Despite her competitiveness, she is very careful to not harm others' feelings and livelihoods. An example being when she ordered two ramen for her and Rifuta Imu and, despite the two being hailed as beauty queens, Kokomi was considered above her since she was given a extra-large bowl while Imu was given a normal bowl of ramen. She is highly competitive in several aspects, such as beauty, sports and academics. With this reasoning, along with her stubbornness and pride, she started to pursue after Kusuo until she fully falls for him. As the most popular girl in school, she is highly sociable.īeing flirted on and getting extreme reactions is normal for her, therefore when Saiki Kusuo was not startled or star struck by her beauty she was puzzled as to why. She is a smooth talker, making her able to manipulate and persuade nearly everyone with her beauty and easily gets away from others with just simple excuses. In truth she is very conceited and a gold digger. Even though her appearance is attractive, her politeness is a charade. When Kokomi was first introduced, she proclaims herself as beautiful and nice, the epitome of a perfect, pretty girl. The skirt is quite short, so the majority of her thighs and legs are revealed. In school, she wears the PK uniform that a standard female student wears, a long-sleeved shirt with a ribbon on her chest, and she wears a short green skirt with tight black stockings on her long legs. She is mostly seen with her hair untied and occasionally wears dresses and skirts whenever she goes out of town. She has a lean body with long, flowing blue hair that reaches just past her shoulder and blue eyes. Kokomi is a girl who has exceptionally good looks which she admits herself, correcting that she isn't being overconfident about it but simply telling the truth.
She was played by Hashimoto Kanna in the live action film of the series. She is a student in Saiki Kusuo's class and she is considered very attractive by both women and men, who often stop and stare upon seeing her. Teruhashi Kokomi) is one of the main characters of the series. The characters may finally get to move on with their lives, but I'll keep thinking of them.Kokomi Teruhashi (照橋心美, てるはし ここみ lit. I'm so happy that I got to watch 56 mostly-amazing episodes of this show. The psy kickers even took a train out in the middle of the night to help with a mystery quest, and they literally saved the world with the power of friendship! Like! I love that shit! It was really touching to see Nendou's unconditional acceptance of Saiki, to see Kaidou caring so much that Saiki is keeping secrets, to see Yumehara finally bolster up the courage to ask Kaidou out, to see that Saiko does care about everyone in the group. I appreciate that they show us so many different possibilities- Saiki can tell everyone, he can wait a while, he can suppress his powers, he can get them back (Reawakened.) Kind of a choose-your-own-adventure.īut whatever happens, he's still going to have his friends.I've grown to really love all these characters, because despite how silly they are, they have depth, and they're mostly good people.
